At only 16, German slopestyle rider Johanna Nußbaumer is one of the most exciting young talents in women’s freeride. Growing up in Bad Saulgau, she discovered biking during the Corona years and instantly connected with the freedom, creativity and community of riding. What began on BMX quickly evolved into dirt jumping and slopestyle, and today Johanna is progressing at a rapid pace. Known for her confident and playful style, she loves airtime and is currently obsessed with 3-combos. Her breakout 2025 season included podiums at every FMB event she entered, a wildcard into Red Bull Joyride and the title of Red Bull Rookie of the Year. Johanna thrives on learning, failing, exploring and riding with friends in their backyard setup, which she sees as the heart of her progression. She describes herself as adventurous, ambitious and joyful in life, and she brings that same energy to every session.
