For Grégoire Schwab, downhill skateboarding is about much more than simply going fast. The Swiss rider combines raw speed with precise lines, calculated racing and a strong dose of creativity. He started skating in 2014 and quickly made his mark on the international downhill scene, becoming European Junior Champion and taking bronze at the Junior World Championship in 2019. In 2022, he backed that up with a win at the legendary Kozakov Challenge and second place at the Cappadocia World Cup. But racing is only one side of Grégoire’s riding. He is just as comfortable charging mountain roads, pushing high-speed freeride lines and turning those sessions into creative video content. Whether it’s chasing the perfect race line, going bigger on freeride runs or developing new video ideas, Grégoire is always looking for ways to progress and push his riding further.
