Going big since day one

From his first turns at the age of seven to representing Switzerland on snowboarding’s biggest stage, Mischa Zürcher has come a long way. Spending his winters in Laax, he practically grew up on a snowboard in the park and pipe. Over the years, he has developed into one of Switzerland’s most exciting young halfpipe riders. At just 18, Mischa has already made his mark internationally. He finished seventh at the 2024 Youth Olympic Games, placed eleventh at the 2025 World Championships in Engadin and scored his first World Cup top ten with seventh place in Calgary. In 2026, he made his Olympic debut for Switzerland at Milano Cortina and followed it up with bronze at the Junior World Championships in Calgary. Mischa’s riding is technical, smooth and controlled, with the kind of style that makes difficult tricks look effortless. Whether he is dropping into his home pipe or competing on the World Cup stage, he is always looking to progress, learn new tricks and push his riding further.
