Snowboarder Lea Jugovac was born in 1994 in Croatia and grew up skiing. In her own words she got into snowboarding “quite late” making the swop for competitive alpine to riding sideways at the age of 14. What she lacked in experience she made up for in natural skill and determination and within a year was competing in national and FIS contests, focusing her energies into the disciplines of park, pipe and big air. Now a fully-fledged member of the Croatian national squad she is competing at the highest level and to-date is most proud of her 6th place in World Cup Big Air in Quebec in 2018. Lea's sponsors include Nitro Snowboards, L1 Premium goods, Northwave and Oprotec sport and she is stoked to be rocking protection by TSG as a member of our pro team.
“
While snowboarding I'm always pushing my limits and while doing so I prefer having the best protection gear in order to prevent injuries and feel safe,” she told us. On the hill you’ll find her whipping around in our Model Four S goggles and the women’s Vertice helmet. With a law degree under her belt and an ever growing bag of tricks Lea is destined for great things on the mountain and TSG protective gear is going to be there every line of her riding journey, keeping her safe and on the hill for longer.
