Your Skatepark Starter Pack

Helmet

A good helmet is the most important piece of gear – and at TSG, we design our own helmet shapes for a perfect fit, not cheap one-size-fits-all models. We offer lightweight in-mold helmets like the Nipper Maxi, Nipper Mini, and Meta, as well as robust hardshell helmets like the Evolution and Evolution Youth for maximum durability.

Protection

When it comes to protection, our pad sets are perfect for keeping knees, elbows, and wrists safe in one go. For even more flexibility, our All Ground Pads are a great choice: they open at the back, making them quick and easy to put on and take off. TSG pads are not made for the toy store – they’re high-quality gear for kids who ride hard and plan to come back for more.

Water Bottle & Snacks

Don’t forget the basics: staying hydrated keeps your energy up and your focus sharp, so always pack a water bottle. A few snacks in your bag will give you the extra fuel you need for tricks, games, and non-stop fun at the skatepark.

Pro Tips for Maximum Safety

Hey Parents!
Before your kid drops in, make sure their gear is ready for action.

1. Check the gear

Look over the helmet and pads to be sure they’re in good shape. If anything’s cracked, deformed, or showing damage, swap it out before the next ride. Take a moment to check straps, buckles, and padding so everything works as it should and feels comfortable.

2. Choose Quality pads

Good pads cover the right spots, stay put, and still allow movement. Skip the discount store or toy shop protectors – your kid’s safety deserves top-level materials, expert design, and trusted protective gear.

3. Make sure the helmet fits right

The helmet should sit level on the head – not too loose, not tilted back. Straps should be snug but comfortable, and the “Y” part of the strap should sit just below the earlobe. If the helmet wobbles, it won’t protect properly, so never let your kid ride with a helmet that’s too big.

Extra Goodies for School & Skate

For a little extra style and convenience, pack the TSG Schoolcase to keep your pens, tools, and other small essentials neatly organised. The TSG Superlight Backpack is ultra-light and packable, so you can stash it in your main bag and pull it out whenever you need extra space for gear or snacks. And with the TSG T-Shirt Classic XXS, you can show off your skate style both in class and at the park.

So grab your gear, check your safety, and roll from classroom to skatepark like a pro!

After school, nothing beats moving, skating, and balancing out a whole day of sitting.
