Jürgen Horrwarth Alley-Oop

Rain, rain and more rain dominated on saturday in Zurich. Skateboarding and FMX contests couldn’t take place and were postponed to sunday. At least a little skate demo could take place later in the evening. The crossover session on saturday was set, live tv broadcasting can`t be postponed… And it was a great show as always. Freeskier Tom Wallisch took the title home to USA.

The weather god was gracious today and sent a mix of sun and clouds to Zurich. So the crowd came and all contest took place.

Jürgen Horrwarth who qualified 4th for the finals could jump on the 2nd place in the finals. Congratulations!!!

Freeskier Bene Mayr just missed the finals. The decision was questionable but set. So a 5th place for him.

Same in snowboarding, our riders Iouri Podladtchikov and Elias Elhardt both missed the finals and ended up 6th and 8th.

Unfortunaltey Renton Millar broke his nose and had to go to hospital. Get well soon!

Jürgen Horrwarth in the finals at Dew Tour stop in Salt Lake City

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

Last weekend the Dew Tour stopped in Salt lake City hosting the worldwide biggest names of the vert and street scene. TSG rider Jürgen Horrwarth for the 1. time qualified for finals in a Dew Tour stop. Unfortunately he couldn’t complete his final run and thus ended up on the 10. place. Not to bad though as he ranks now on position 12 for overall standings.

See some action of Jürgen, Renton Millar and Sam Beckett in the video above.

Freestyle.ch starts this weekend

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

It’s like a big TSG-rider-get-together but it’s called Freestyle.ch and it takes place this weekend in our hometown Zurich, Switzerland. If you are around you shouldn’t miss the show of Europe’s biggest freestyle happening. Come and watch our riders Iouri Podladtchikov and Elias Elhardt going big on the snowboard, follow freeskier Bene Mayr on the big jump or get dizzy when Jürgen Horrwarth, Renton Millar, Jocke Olsson and Sam Beckett perform on the vert skate ramp.

You can visit us and see our new winter 2011 products in the label world. Our swiss distributor Talstation runs the booth.

MAKE SURE TO STEP BY ON SUNDAY AT 12:00 WHEN ELIAS ELHARDT HANDS OUT POSTERS FOR A SIGNATURE SESSION.

Since the event is concentrated on two days this year, all invited big names are sure to be at the start on Saturday.

Zurich itself is furnishing one of the most promising contenders for the title of freestyle.ch’s oldest discipline, snowboarding: winner of X Games Europe, Iouri Podladtchikov. «Last year my hometown chose me as crossover.champ. This year I want to finally thank Zurich for it by winning the snowboarding competition!» says Podladtchikov of his participation. Iouri already proved to have the right form in August at the Burton New Zealand Open, where he won the halfpipe event.
