TSG Techisode – Lotus Helmet with Caja Schöpf
Wednesday, January 5th, 2011Bene Mayr 2nd at Sweet Rumble
Thursday, December 2nd, 2010Congrats to Bene Mayr for his 2nd place at the Sweet Rumbl in Trysil, Norway last weekend.
After knocking out Markus Eder and Klaus Finne with his slow and stellar looking double cork 10, Bene met Brown in the finals, which was a three-run format where 3 different jumps had to be thrown. Bene, who was going huge all night, attempted to push the envelope even further but failed to stomp his tricks, leaving the door open for Brown, who sailed to victory with another flawless double cork 12.
1st. Bobby Brown (USA)
2nd Bene Mayr (GER)
3rd Jf Houle (CAN)
4th Klaus Finne (NOR)
5th Andreas Hatevite (NOR)
6th Elias Ambuhl (CH)
3rd place for Bene Mayr at King of Style 2010
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010
Bene Mayr just came back from Stockholm and told us about his 3rd place at the King of Style. Congratulation Bene!
Here is a little recap of the event and Bene’s performance:
The organizers had announced one of the biggest city jump ever done with a 19m deck. All the riders were excited about this idea but the jump wasn’t tested before so the first try of TJ Schiller was a bit scary (he landed hard on the deck, 2m before the landing). And after 10 riders, the organizers decided to postponed the quali and re-shape the whole jump.
After a long break, the 17m deck jump was open for practice and everything worked well. The qualification format was really simple, as they had to change the schedule, 2 runs best one count! Only 8 riders, among them Bene Mayr, were qualified for the head to head final with the pre-qualified riders (Sammy Carlson, Simon Dumont, Paul Bergeron, Bobby Brown, Jon Olsson, Kevin Rolland, Andreas Håtveit and Jacob Wester).
For the final, the shaper had made the kicker better and the in run was longer so everyone was stocked on the jump after the first trainings. The audience was big for this final day. The final field was one of the most impressive one with the top 3 of the last X Games Big Air. The weather wasn’t the easiest to handle (rain and wind) but still good enough for the riders to ensure the show!

Our freeskier Bene Mayr, who recently switched ski sponsor from Atomic to Nordica, won the Best Rider Performance in Poor Boyz Productions’ Revolver at IF3 Europe.
IF3 it’s the International Freeski Film Festival that has been created 3 years ago by Felix Rioux, it’s the freeski « Cannes Festival » and for the first time ever, arrived in Europe in Annecy, France. The best movies of the year and also the riders that make you dream have been the leading actors of the scene.
All the main productions were around like Poor Boyz, Level 1, MSP, TGR (European premiere), PVS, Legs of Steel, 4bi9, ESK, Voleurz, Field, …. to present their new creations.
The IF3 is also the occasion to celebrate and have fun so there have been many entertainments around the theater like signing sessions, wakeboard and skateboards sessions, a photo exposure in the shop center a big brand village and of course many parties.

Jürgen Horrwarth 2nd at Freestyle.ch 2010
Sunday, September 26th, 2010Rain, rain and more rain dominated on saturday in Zurich. Skateboarding and FMX contests couldn’t take place and were postponed to sunday. At least a little skate demo could take place later in the evening. The crossover session on saturday was set, live tv broadcasting can`t be postponed… And it was a great show as always. Freeskier Tom Wallisch took the title home to USA.
The weather god was gracious today and sent a mix of sun and clouds to Zurich. So the crowd came and all contest took place.
Jürgen Horrwarth who qualified 4th for the finals could jump on the 2nd place in the finals. Congratulations!!!
Freeskier Bene Mayr just missed the finals. The decision was questionable but set. So a 5th place for him.
Same in snowboarding, our riders Iouri Podladtchikov and Elias Elhardt both missed the finals and ended up 6th and 8th.
Unfortunaltey Renton Millar broke his nose and had to go to hospital. Get well soon!
We welcome freeskier Caja Schöpf
Friday, August 20th, 2010
Caja Schöpf is the new TSG team mate of freeskier Bene Mayr; as of now, she will be riding with our helmets and protectors.
Caja has skied professionally since 2004 and is one of Germany’s best female freeskiers today including contest successes in Europe and beyond. In 2009, she became the first female member of the FIAT Freestyle Team, which added to her high profile and recognition. Caja is very disciplined in organizing her life and knows how to combine her studies and sports perfectly. She acts and poses for photo shoots in between and even finds time to organize and supervise camps, such as the Young Blood Girlie Camp on the Zugspitze (mountain).
Caja’s 2010/11 season will involve participating in the most important contests in Europe as well as plenty of shootings to collect high-quality footage for movies and magazines. In addition to this, Caja plans to organize 1 or 2 exotic “girls only” trips but will not yet reveal the destinations.
Caja chose the Lotus women’s snowboard helmet, the TSG back protector and crash pants to protect her on the mountain.
Welcome to the team, Caja!
