Angie Hohenwarther came, saw and conquered at the Nightsprint

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

Angie Hohenwarther came, saw and conquered at the Nightsprint at the Bikefestival in Riva des Garda, Italy. It’s a 4X Race in the flat.

Darlings of the public were dirt bikers  Timo Pritzel and Amir Kabbani who both gave it a try. But it was our ambassador Flo Gottschlich you ended up in front of Timo and Amir on a lucky 2nd palce behind Guido Tschugg.

Congratulation Angie and Flo!

Success for Angie Hohenwarter at Freeride Festival in Saalbach

Friday, July 16th, 2010

Angie had a good time  with great success last weekend in Saalback at the Freeride Festival.

She started at the Dual Eliminator on friday. A fast old school track with few berms and loose ground. She managed it easily to the finals and won in front of the german champion Steffi Marth.

Next day saw the qualifications for the Scott Gang Battle. The 1. ever Mass Downhill Race in Austria. More than 450 riders registered for that race. The track started on a grassy ground down the gravel road and turned into the 8km DH Track (Xline), a mix of fast, rough and narrow, with roots, northshores, pedaling and gravels.

Angie had a great qualification run. She started with 30 other guys in the group and after a really fun 14 minutes ride she managed finishing 3rd place in the women´s category.

The next racing day Angie started on 1st position but tactically decided to slow down a bit to safe power for the rest of the track. The battle of the first 4 women was pretty close. Angie managed coming back from the 4th position into the 2nd and stayed there till the end. She finished the race 2 seconds behind the winner girl!

Congratulations Angie!
