Read below what he says about his helmet (for german-speaking only):
We are happy to welcome snowboarder Silvia Mittermüller to the team. As of now, she will officially be riding with TSG helmet and protectors.
Silvia Mittermüller has been enthusiastic about the design, fit and protection performance of TSG’s safety products for two years. Now we finally sealed this partnership and welcomes Silvia as the new official TSG Snowboard Team member.
Silvia Mittermüller has been snowboarding since 1997 and managed to make a name for herself in the international snowboarding circuit pretty fast. Born and bred in the Alps, Silva spent a lot of time in the USA where she was recognized and admired because of her versatile on-snow skills and unique snowboarding style.
Silvia’s schedule for the next season involves filming and contests and again, a lot of time in the States.
And the contest season kicked off super promising for her. Just last week Silvia finished 4th in the slopestyle competition of the New Zealand Open, and 12th in the pipe. The current BGO (Burton Global Tour) ranking features Silvia as 2nd place while she kicked off the TTR (Ticket To Ride) season with a solid 4th place.
TSG’s motto “Designed by Riders” has already become a live experience for Silvia. Following a relaxed wake surf session at Zürisee (lake Zurich), Silvia found herself designing and developing new ideas for next year’s products together with the TSG R&D team.
Silvia chose the Lotus women’s snowboard helmet, the Big Bear kneeguard and Backbone Trooper back protector to protect her on the mountain.
The Scott 11 team is in Champéry for the UCI MTB World Cup. The 1. practice on the Downhill World Cup track confirmed what everybody already knew: it’s steep! But other than in 2007, riders have the choice between the radical straight lines and the flowing round lines. It took quite a bit of thinking finding the best option for every rider.
The weather stayed dry during practice which was highly appreciated by the athletes who needed a bit of time to get used to such a steep track. Though, it started raining hard thursday evening, and it might be a whole new story today.
Fabien Pedemanaud has some problems with his shoulder, as he dislocated it during the french championships and did the same today landing from a jump without even crashing. We hope that he’s going to be able to race after the treatment of his physio.
Emilie Siegenthaler is back from her injury break and is very happy to be back on her bike!
Floriane Pugin is one of the two girls who managed to jump all of the big jumps on the track.
Watch the race on freecaster.com. The LIVE action starts Saturday 24th at 13:15 CET with the women’s DH, followed by the men’s race. Go to http://freecaster.tv/live/mtb/1011052

check out Ville’s part at the Spring Battle and read here what Ville writes about the Spring Battle and his horrible slam.
Ville: Today I had a last competition of the season in Flachauwinkel (Spring Battle). We had a good weather and two really smooth kickers. Only thing was that all the kickers were totally icy. I did on my first run the safety run: SW BS 900 and FS 1080. After the run I was thinking to do other FS 900 and cab 1080 combos but after last week’s success in Andorra I decided to do FS 900 and SW double cork 12. I almost got it on my first run but there was just too much impact in the landing so I wasn’t able to land it. On the last run I thought to do just 9 and 10 but I changed my mind and i tried to do the same run once again. This time I catched my edge in the landing and hit my head straight to the flat icy landing. I was super lucky this time ’cause I really think without TSG helmet it would be really serious accident. I got just a small concussion with a lot of pain in my neck. I ended up 4th but i’m still happy that i’m okey even the worst slam of the season. Now, it’s time for spring break including photoshooting and having fun with all the good friends!

Iouri made it! After his unlucky 4th place in Vancouver, he strikes back and wins the halfpipe contest at the first european x games in Tignes.
Iouri’s showed in his great final run Cab double cork 1080, inverted frontside 540 and then the trick that he learned a week ago (and landed on his second try) – the double McTwist 1260, aka Shaun White’s trick, in the middle of his run. He went on to lay down a frontside 1080 and Cab 720.. This run was scored with 98 points! What a dream result! And the highest in Winter X history.
Last weekend the TSG supported CaD tour moved back to the austrian Alps with its tour stop in Axamer Lizum. Lots of snow dumped the night before the contest started resulting in a complete re-shaping of all obstacles. Didn’t matter as most riders were stuck in a road chaos anyways, so the CaD crew had to organize a shuttle service, bring all riders up. With a little delay 60 rider reached the starting field and the contest was on.
But lets the pics and the video speak for themselves.
Next tour stops are:
27.02.2010 Maiskogel/AUT – TTR 1star +Girls
06.03.2010 Schmitten – Zell a. See/AUT TTR 2star
13.03.2010 Warth-Schröcken/AUT – TTR 1star +Girls
10.04.2010 FINALE Arosa/SUI – TTR 3Star
