We are happy to announce the start of WakeTrickTips weekly series, produced by WakeTrickTips in cooperation with TSG’s pro wakeboarder and coach Daniel »Fetzy« Fetz. Every week you will be able to watch the full HD video WakeTrickTips starting from air date Sunday 19th June.
The WakeTrickTips series offers 7 tricks to be learned this summer.
Wakeboarding is fun, but lets face it, the exciting part is to learn a new trick. Therefore they will deliver 7 WakeTrickTips in English and German for free, and with a little bit of your time and training you can win cool TSG and other goodies.

As you can see, the tricks are still a secret. It is not that the crew doesn’t want to tell you; they just want fair play for everyone.
To be part of the competition you have to follow these 4 steps:
It was about time for the downhill racing scene to return to one of the most popular racetracks in Europe, the classic downhill of Todtnau, Germany.
The one man who knows this track since its emergence, Marcus Klausmann, is probably still the fastest man on this mountain.
The other man, who spent half of his racing career training in Todtnau, is SCOTT11′s team manager Claudio Caluori, trying to push his athletes to be faster than Klausmann on his favorite track.
In qualification, it was Marcus Klausmann who rode away from his competitors with a lead of almost 6 sec. SCOTT11′s Nick Beer didn’t feel well but surprisingly came down in 5th position.
In sunday’s finals, Nick was able to step it up and ride 7 sec. faster than in the qualifier, while Marcus Klausmann had to give up the race because of technical problems on his bike. MS Evil’s Brook MacDonald was the man of the day, going another 1.8 sec. faster than Nick Beer, taking the win!
In the women’s race, SCOTT11′s Floriane Pugin and Emilie Siegenthaler dominated the competition. Floriane Pugin took the win with a lead of 11 sec. over her teammate Emilie Siegenthaler, who again was 4 sec. faster than the rest.
Next SCOTT11 action is the World Cup in Fort William, Scotland!
TSG’s freeskier Bene Mayr landed the first forward double misty 1080 while shooting with Legs of Steel on the Kaunertaler Glacier in Austria.
“It’s a new double rotation which has never been done before. I’ve been wanting to do this trick for over a year now and never got a chance. Now that I’ve finally done it I’m really happy about it.”, explains Bene.
The new trick is being called a Trooper. Paddy Graham, Bene’s roommate and a fellow member of Legs of Steel, named it. “He came up to me and was like, ‘Oh, you just landed the Trooper,’” Bene said. “So that’s where the name comes from — I think it’s from an Iron Maiden song.”
In a misty, the skier throws a flip forward off the jump, putting their head down first. This is different from a cork, in which the skier flips backwards into the jump. The Munich-based skier said that he sees more commitment in throwing the trick against the jump rather than the other way.
Bene, who is skiing with a knee injury that has nagged him since the Red Bull Linecatcher in January, said the jump was 24 or 25 meters (about 82 feet) and was constructed as a semi-roller step down.
TSG’s Aussie Skateboarder Renton Millar took 1st place at the Clash at Berlin Skatehalle last weekend. Local hero, Jürgen Horrwart got 2nd, only by a hairbreadth distance.
Same at the Death or Glory Bowljam on saturday evening. Jürgen was only beaten by the young Californian Curren Caples.
TSG’s rider Sam Beckett and Pontus Björn ended up 4th and 5th.
Congratulation!

Enjoy Sam Pilgrim’s newest mountain bike freeride edit. Filmed in Colchester, England, in MAY 2011. The video includes dirt jumping, street riding and skatepark action all on a MTB!
This edit contains maybe the smallest flair Sam has ever done, as well as a scary drop off a bridge which was near death and some new banger tricks!
Amir does it once again and jumps on the podium at the dirt jump contest in Solothurn last weekend. The dirt jump is part of Switzerland’s largest bike exhibition, the Bike Days. 3 titles in a row make Amir happy, who has been winning the contest for the last 3 years now.
The 3rd place goes to our ambassador Peter Henke. Congratulation!
Angie Hohenwarther came, saw and conquered at the Nightsprint at the Bikefestival in Riva des Garda, Italy. It’s a 4X Race in the flat.
Darlings of the public were dirt bikers Timo Pritzel and Amir Kabbani who both gave it a try. But it was our ambassador Flo Gottschlich you ended up in front of Timo and Amir on a lucky 2nd palce behind Guido Tschugg.
