Watch the Nine-Minute Skateistan Documentary

To Live and Skate in Kabul is now available to watch online. The beautifully shot documentary was filmed in January 2010 and follows two Skateistan students, Murza and Fazila, through the streets of Kabul.

After winning 2 awards at the L.A. Skate Film Festival in September, legendary director Stacy Peralta (Dogtown and the Z-Boys and Riding Giants) wrote to the director Von Einsiedel saying “the film really knocked me out, it brought tears to my eyes and made me realize why I’ve ridden a skateboard all of my life.”

The film has been officially selected for a number of other festivals worldwide.

Elias Elhardt shredding session with friends

Elias Elhardt just got back from a really good weekend at the Moreboards Stubai Premiere. He organized a little invitational event. The basic idea was, to invite some friends over enjoying a good time shredding together. They had a really fun session and covered it all in a video clip filmed and addited by their buddy Maurino. Nick Beer and Emilie Siegenthaler win Swiss Downhill Cup

The final race of the 2010 IXS Swiss Downhill Cup was held in one of the most popular places of the swiss downhill scene.
Switzerland’s best race organizer once again provided a perfect race track and lots of parties and concerts to celebrate the 2010 racing season.

Both, Nick Beer and Emilie Siegenthaler won the race with a solid margin. Nick was almost five seconds faster than everybody else, Emilie was 3 seconds faster. With the points of this weekend, they both also won the overall ranking of the 2010 IXS Swiss Downhill Cup.

Junior Freddy Hunziker placed 27th in the elites field and third in the junior overall swiss cup.

Markus Pekoll wins Austria Exreme Cup

Congrats to Markus Pekoll for winning the Austria Extreme Cup with a lead of 6 sec. This makes him the Overall Leader of the Austrian Cup 2010. Looks like Markus is collecting national champ titels!
