YOUR LIFE IS FULL OF TRAVELLING. DO YOU STILL ENJOY IT OR WOULD YOU SOMETIMES PREFER STAYING HOME?
I still love to move and see new places. But yes at of the year I love to come back home and enjoy home.

AND HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO RECOVER FROM A JETLAG?
What is a jetlag?

ANY RECOMMENDATION ON HOW TO NOT GET BORED ON LONG OVERSEA FLIGHTS?
Sleep, work on the computer, eat and drink (no alcohol), read, talking with your neighbors, listen to music, walking around in the plane, there is a lot to do.

TELL US A LITTLE ANECDOTE THAT HAPPENED DURING ONE OF YOUR TRIPS. ANYTHING, BE IT FUNNY, SPECIAL, WEIRD. WHATEVER COMES IN YOUR MIND?
We have been on the way back from the finest air show in the Bretagne with the whole crew. Patrick’s (Guimez) car broke down and we had to spend a lot of time on a small parking besides an exit. Vince la machine was on full power and energy. So to cool him down we taped him on a street sign besides the streets for around good an hour. Pretty funny picture!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE RIDING WITH TSG HELMETS? WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE HELMETS? The helmets are from riders for riders with the best technology. They look good and do what they have to do: Safe your head. This all comes from a long experience. Like a Swiss watch.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN A SITUATION WHERE YOUR HELMET SAVED YOUR BRAIN FROM SEVERE DAMAGED? IF YES, WHAT HAPPENED?
Yes. I did an oppo 360 over a hip. But I went a bit to far and landed in the soft part of the landing. Eh voila over the bars straight on the head. But all went good, some dirt in the face, but my head was brand new.

HOW ABOUT OTHER PROTECTION GEAR? DO YOU WEAR ANYTHING ELSE BUT A HELMET?
Yes of course. The Tahoe kneepads / BMX shinguards and the ankle braces.

WHAT DO YOU DO ON A DAY OFF BIKE?
I go surfing, running, play music or working on buildings for events. Yes this is a big part of my life besides riding my bike. I build lots of dirt courses for BMX and MTB.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PASSION THAT YOU FOLLOW BESIDES BMX? WHAT IS IT, HOW DID YOU PICK IT UP AND WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?
I have two big passions: surfing and snowboarding. Surfing I started with Alex Dropsy and Beou in Marseille. Now I try to go surf as much as possible. Definitely a big part in my life. In the winter I work now in Leogang at the Nitro snowpark. Means I spent all the winter in the mountains building the park and go snowboarding.

OCCUPATION IF YOU WERE NOT A PROFESSIONAL BIKER?
Good question. Probably I would end up doing something in the mountains.
