YOUR LIFE IS FULL OF TRAVELLING. DO YOU STILL ENJOY IT OR WOULD YOU SOMETIMES PREFER STAYING HOME?
Well yeah that’s true. But i still love it. I wouldn‘t change it for anything. Of course there is a time every now and then where you wish you would be home to see family and friends. But that doesn’t happen that often. Most of the time you travel with your friends anyway.

AND HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO RECOVER FROM A JETLAG?
Puhhhh, i guess depending where you fly to, but normally about 3 days.

ANY RECOMMENDATION ON HOW TO NOT GET BORED ON LONG OVERSEA
FLIGHTS?
Movies, books and sleep.

TELL US A LITTLE ANECDOTE THAT HAPPENED DURING ONE OF YOUR TRIPS. ANYTHING, BE IT FUNNY, SPECIAL, WEIRD. WHATEVER COMES IN YOUR MIND?
Haha two years ago I was in the states and wanted to fly back home for Christmas to surprise my family. Well it took me 4 days to get back home. I traveled to 4 different cities and slept in 4 hotels my flight got canceled 4 times. I got home at 8 o‘clock on Christmas Eve. Haha

YOU USED TO RIDE WITHOUT HELMET, WHAT CHANGED YOUR OPINION?
True, a friend had a really bad crash and was in a coma for 3 month. He injured his brain really really bad and lost all his abilities like walking, speaking and so on. He needed to learn everything from scratch again. That changed my opinion on wearing a helmet. And how important it is to wear one.

DO YOU WEAR YOUR HELMET CONSISTENTLY WHEN SKIING OR ONLY ON
CERTAIN DAYS? IF YES, WHY?
No I always wear my helmet, also if I only shred around and don’t do anything gnarly.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE RIDING WITH TSG HELMETS? WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE HELMETS?
Well TSG is a really dope brand. It’s been around for so long and works with some of the best action sport athletes in the World. So it’s amazing to be a part of it. Besides that I really like their skate style helmets.

HOW ABOUT OTHER PROTECTION GEAR? DO YOU WEAR ANYTHING ELSE
Anything else but a helmet? Yes I wear a back protector every now and then, mostly when I ski in the backcountry.

WHAT DO YOU DO ON A DAY OFF SLOPES?
Well I usually meet friends, hit the gym a lot and go and jump trampoline.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PASSION THAT YOU FOLLOW BESIDES SKIING?
WHAT IS IT, HOW DID YOU PICK IT UP AND WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?
Yes I do, but it is also related to skiing though, haha. I founded Legs Of Steel with 3 of my best friends. We are a ski movie production company. Although it has something to do with skiing, there are also a lot of things besides skiing we have to look after. Like post production organizing a movie premiere tour, writing concepts and so on. I really like it because I learn a lot of stuff, which has nothing to do with skiing directly, but is related to it.

YOUR SPORT AND PASSION IS DEPENDENT ON A HEALTHY PLANET. DO YOU
GIVE ANYTHING BACK TO MOTHER NATURE?
Puhh, that’s hard one. Maybe not giving anything back, I don’t plant trees or something like that. But I try to not leave too big toxic footprints ;)

OCCUPATION IF I WAS NOT A PROFESSIONAL SKIER?
Maybe a doctor!
