A true rags-to-riches, boy-done-good story: Ricardo was born and raised in Mexico, relocating to Las Vegas with his family at the age of 13 in search of a better life. It was here, pedaling around Sin City on his BMX that led him to the first love of his life: dirt jumping. Turning pro in 2003 at the age of 21, Ricardo has been living the American Dream ever since, with a long list of victories and accolades within the sport, and a growing following outside it: in 2009 he was named as both BMX Plus magazine’s dirt jumper of the year, and as one of Las Vegas magazine’s hottest bachelors! Today, Ricardo’s star continues rise on MTV’s Tr3s channel, where he has his own reality show, Ricardo Laguna Project.
